About this course
Higher Course i Part 1 & 2:
Suitable for whom? For those learners who have completed the Canolradd 2 course and also, for those who are familiar with the main language patterns
Which course book? Cwrs Uwch 1 (South Wales version)
Number of sessions? 32
Course format? 7 hours a week (including weekly homework)

What will you learn?:
- Revise the short form past tense, the future tense and the conditional tense
- Revise the noun clause (that – ‘bod’)
- Revise answers
- Learn sentence tags
- Revise the passive pattern
- Revise adjectives
- Revise plural nouns
- Revise prepositions
- Develop and improve your speaking skills
- Enjoy reading, watching and listening pieces which come from Welsh language books and magazines and from programmes on S4C and Radio Cymru
- Discuss themes (Fashion, Time, the first time, Organising a Trip, There’s no place like home…, Music, I’m the best person for the job, Pets, Travelling around Wales, Going out for food, Communicating, The Environment)
- Revise compound prepositions
- Numerals
- Ordinals
- The noun clause (‘y’)
- Using emphasis with the noun clause
- The short form conditional tense
- Never and ever
- How to say ‘this’ and ‘that’
- Revising how to use ‘in’ correctly
