Foundation Course Part 1 & 2

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A BLENDED COURSE WHERE YOU ARE EXPECTED TO DO 1 HOUR A WEEK OF SELF-STUDY IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE LEVEL IN ONE ACADEMIC YEAR. THIS COURSE IS FASTER PACED THAN OTHER COURSES AND ITS IMPORTANT THAT YOU PREPARE FOR THE TUTOR CLASS BY COMPLETING THE WORK ONLINE INDEPENDANTLY .

This course builds on Entry level and is suitable for those who already speak very basic Welsh. The main emphasis will be on speaking the language, with a chance to discuss everyday matters such as family and friends, work and leisure. You will aim to complete the Sylfaen level by the end if this course which will be held in a tutor-led in-person classroom in Newtown for 30 weeks. You are expected to attend 3 hours a week in a Zoom classroom and 1 hour a week of independent self-study.
